Camelford - 5 - 1 - Perranporth
Perranporth made the trip up to Camelford on Saturday hoping to make amends following Tuesday nights defeat to Newquay, unfortunately though it wasn't meant to be as Camelford were 3 - 0 up by half time. In the second half play was stopped for about 30 minutes after Perranporth's Phil Willey went off to hospital with a suspected broken leg. Shortly after play resumed the Referee awarded a soft looking penalty to Camelford, the Perranporth Assistant Referee signalled for the Referee's attention and said it wasn't penalty but the Referee chose to overall him, and the penalty stood and Camelford made it 4 - 0. Danny Ford did pull a goal back after good passing movement between him Alex Arquati and Jamie Cox, Ford striking the ball into the top right-hand corner, giving the Camelford keeper no chance. Near to the games end Camelford did manage to add a fifth goal and make the final score 5 - 1. Perranporth are back in action on Saturday 4th September 2010 at Foxhole, kick off is at 3.00pm.
