Perranporth - 6 - 0 - Mullion - Jollys Cornwall Combination League
Perranporth again showed just why they are most people's favourites to win the title for the first time as they overwhelmed struggling Mullion on Saturday.
The north coast side have now scored 34 goals in just seven matches and conceded a miserly four.
And their sixth win in seven outings, despite missing several key players, moved them a point clear at the top of the table.
Despite dominating the first half when they played with the strong wind it was not until the first minute of the second period that they took the lead when Justin Andrew scored with a bullet-like header from a corner by joint player-manager Ian Gosling.
Defender Dean Harris who has an outstanding game, then broke forward make it 2 - 0.
It was all Perranporth and joint player-manager Rusty Rowson
made it 3 - 0 with his first touch of the ball from Gosling's corner after coming on as a substitute.
A brace from Kayne Trevaskis (2) and Andrew completed the rout for Perranporth who are at Porthleven this Saturday.

Perranporth Reserves - 7 - 2 - Callington Town III - Bodmin Trophies Duchy League Division 5
Perranporth got back to winning ways with an impressive win against Callington Town at Newquay Sports Centre on Saturday. Callington started brightly with the wind in their tails and were unlucky not to take an early lead when a fearsome low drive from Lucas Skop whistled just wide of the Perran goal with 2 minutes gone. This seemed to spur Perranporth into action and on 4 minutes a pinpoint ball from Shaun Clements sent Damian Bispham through on goal to coolly slot the ball under the advancing keeper to make it 1-0. On 11 minutes Perranporth doubled their lead through Bispham when a neat passing move from the home side saw the striker through one on one with the keeper again, Bispham taking one touch to control the ball and then lobbing the stranded keeper from 18 yards. Callington, not willing to lie down took advantage of poor marking from Perranporth in the 13th minute and International frontman Lucas Skop wasted no time in reducing the arrears with a powerful back post header from a wind assisted corner to make the score 2-1. Skop continually caused Perranporth problems with his aerial presence. In the 25th minute following a long goal kick, Skop climbed to nod the ball back to a Callington midfielder whose cheeky effort skipped up off the wet grass to deceive 16 year old keeper Ben Mitchell in the home goal and hit the post. On 26 minutes Skop was booked for a late aerial challenge on Perranporth centre back Johnny Williams. This was Callingtons last notable effort of the half as Perranporth turned up the gas on their opponents. Bispham scored again on 28 minutes with a near tap in following good work from Tom Byrne, the Perranporth midfielder weaved his way through the Callington defence and unselfishly squared the ball to Bispham to complete his first hat-trick after nearly 3 years out through injury. The next 10 minutes saw Perranporth hit the bar 3 times with the Callington keeper making a series of fine saves. Firstly, a looping header by veteran Paul Lord was turned onto the woodwork in dramatic style as Perranporth rallied to increase their lead. Two minutes later midfielder Lee Denton played a neat one two with Daniel Ball and his powerful left foot drive from 18 yards was again turned onto the bar by the visiting custodian. Bispham was next to be denied when a corner was only partly cleared by the Callington defence, the striker took the ball on his chest before releasing a right footed volley only to see his effort again turned onto the woodwork by the "Flying Scotsman". Perranporth’s last goal of the half came on 38 minutes when Rob Brandreth took the ball down well following a long throw from goalkeeper Ben Mitchell. His turn and subsequent pass with the outside of his boot fell beautifully to Bispham 20 yards out and the striker made no mistake in notching his and Perranporth’s forth with a low drive to the keepers left. Callington against the wind in the second half notched their second on 55 minutes when the Perranporth defence seemed to go to sleep, Skop raced clear from a long ball and the “Polish Predator” finished calmly slotting the ball under the advancing Mitchell to make the score 4-2. Mansfield replaced Clements in the centre of the park on the hour and in the 62nd minute Bispham scored his and the games best goal with a sublime right footed strike from just outside the box, giving the keeper no chance. Bispham was then replaced by Danny Penna and the young marksman not to be outdone by the free scoring Bispham quickly got on the score sheet with a neat back post header following further good work from Tom Byrne on the right. As Callington tired, Perranporth increased the pressure only to be denied again by a number of quality saves from the visiting keeper, the best being a point blank save from a Rob Brandreth header that the custodian had no right to keep out. Lee Denton wrapped up the scoring in the 88th Minute with a thunderous left foot strike from 15 yards following a rebounded shot from Rob Brandreth.
