The Under 8s Supersonics, a new approach was tried where we started 6 months earlier than we usually would have. 13 eager faces turned up on a cold February morning, ready to start their footballing journey, and what a ride its been. With 12 out of the original 13 still making up the squad, with the team welcoming a couple of additions, to make up the full ‘Sonics’ squad.
The team is extremely passionate, they play and train in a ‘full-on’ style, and win or lose they are just happy to be playing football, and continually make the Club proud of their Sportsmanship.
The team proudly wear Patches The Giraffe, on the back of their White Kit. Patches is the mascot for the Childhood Tumor Trust, to help raise awareness for for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic condition the Managers daughter has.
